// AI Operations Audit
Find the AI opportunities worth acting on first.
In two weeks, we map how work gets done, score the strongest automation opportunities and give you a prioritised 90-day roadmap. Fixed fee: £3,500 excluding VAT. No build commitment.
30 minutes. No obligation. No hard sell.
// Is this the right first step?
Start here if the pressure is real, but the path is not.
The Audit is designed for organisations with operational complexity and no reliable way to decide what should be automated first.
The Audit is likely a good fit if:
- Manual work repeats across email, CRM, documents, reporting or support.
- The operational pressure is clear, but the right first AI investment is not.
- Previous automations are unreliable, unowned or difficult to trust.
- You need to scale service capacity without adding another layer of manual administration.
The Audit is not the right starting point if:
- You already have a defined build brief and only need implementation.
- You want an AI feature without a clear operational problem behind it.
- No process owner or frontline team member can join the workshop.
- You want a platform licence rather than independent process and tool advice.
// What you receive
Five deliverables your team can use, with or without us.
The value is the decision clarity. Any later build is a separate choice, scope and fee.
Current-state service blueprint
A clear map of client-facing and backstage work, handoffs, delays and failure points.
Opportunity scorecard
Candidate workflows scored for frequency, effort, risk and readiness.
Tool and integration map
What you already use, where data lives and where integration is realistic.
Prioritised 90-day roadmap
Quick wins, short-term builds and longer-term opportunities in a sequenced plan.
Findings presentation
A senior readout, clear recommendations and a handover your decision-makers can act on.
// A tangible preview
Every opportunity earns its place.
We score candidate workflows instead of producing a wish list. That keeps effort, risk and organisational readiness visible alongside the potential upside.
Illustrative opportunity: Produce the weekly client performance report from analytics, project and CRM data, with human approval before sending.
This example demonstrates the format only. Your scorecard will reflect your workflows and evidence.
Roadmap placement
Short-term buildGood value and accessible data. Add approval and exception handling before release.
// The two-week process
A bounded engagement with a clear finish line.
Fit call and preparation
We confirm the business problem, the people needed and the workflows in scope. If the Audit is not the right starting point, we say so.
Half-day workflow mapping workshop
We map the current service, including client-facing steps, backstage operations, tools, data and human decisions.
Analysis and opportunity scoring
We document bottlenecks, score candidates, assess the existing tool landscape and identify the oversight each opportunity needs.
Roadmap and findings handover
You receive the full deliverable pack and a senior presentation that explains what to do first, what to defer and why.
What we need from you: A process owner, the people who do the work, a list of current tools and honest access to how the workflow operates today.
// Proof-through-practice
We built this for our own business first.
New Brand Media runs on agents: research, communications, reporting and task routing. We know how agentic operations work because we use them in our own business, review the edge cases and keep people in charge where judgement matters. The Audit applies that practical experience to your workflows without assuming that every process should be automated.
Human oversight is not a disclaimer. It is part of the service design.
// A lower-risk way to begin
Buy clarity first. Decide on implementation second.
The commercial boundaries are explicit, so you can evaluate the Audit without being pulled into a larger programme.
Fixed fee and fixed scope
£3,500 excluding VAT, with the listed deliverables and a two-week delivery window.
Standalone deliverable
The blueprint, scorecard and roadmap remain useful if you implement internally or with another partner.
Build quoted separately
No implementation work is assumed. If a build makes sense, it receives its own scope, price and decision.
Vendor-neutral recommendations
We start with the process and evidence, not a platform we need to resell.
Existing tools considered first
The Audit reviews your current stack before suggesting replacement or additional software.
Senior accountability
The findings and priorities are led by NBM's senior practice, not handed off after the sales call.

AI Operations Audit FAQs
Does the £3,500 fee include implementation?
No. The fee covers the two-week Audit, the half-day workflow mapping workshop and the five listed deliverables. Any build is scoped and priced separately, after you have the evidence to decide whether it is worthwhile.
What size of business is the Audit for?
It is designed for founder-led SMEs, scaling businesses, high-trust B2B firms and product teams with meaningful operational complexity. Fit depends less on headcount than on whether there is a real process problem, a clear owner and access to the people who do the work.
Do we need to know which process to automate?
No. The Audit is most useful when the operational pressure is clear but the best starting point is not. We map the workflows and score the opportunities to identify where action is most worthwhile.
Will we have to replace our current tools?
Not by default. We review your existing tools, data and integrations first. We recommend a replacement only when the evidence shows that the current setup blocks a worthwhile outcome.
Who needs to take part?
We need a process owner and the people who carry out the work. Their practical knowledge helps us map exceptions, judgement calls and informal handoffs accurately. We will also need a list of the tools used in the workflow.
What happens after the findings presentation?
You can implement the roadmap internally, use another partner, ask NBM to scope the highest-value build or stop. The Audit is complete at handover, the deliverables remain useful and there is no continuing commitment.
